Dutch-Swedish cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema ASC born 4 October 1971 is well-known for working with filmmaker Christopher Nolan. He is well-known for using handheld cameras and mostly using film. He has been nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography, and he won one for Oppenheimer (2023). Let the Right One In (2008), The Fighter (2010), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), Her (2013), the James Bond movie Spectre (2015), Ad Astra (2019), and Nope (2022) are among the films that Van Hoytema has directed. He has received praise from critics for his work with filmmakers Mikael Marcimain, Tomas Alfredson, and Christopher Nolan; his projects with Nolan include Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017), Tenet (2020), and Oppenheimer (2023).
