Actor Hemky Madera was born in the United States on January 26, 1977. He made his acting debut in the Dominican Republic television series Grandes Series Dominicanas, where he starred in the major roles of the miniseries Trio en Alta Mar and En La Olla, all of which were directed and produced by Alfonso Rodríguez. Additionally, he portrayed Carlos in the Netflix original Kaleidoscope and Mr. Delmar in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Luis and Gisela Madera were the parents of Madera, who was born in Queens. His family later relocated him back to Santiago, Dominican Republic, after he was born prematurely when his mother was visiting relatives in New York. After graduating from college, he made the decision to pursue acting full-time and relocated to New York City, where he collaborated with Gabriel Macht on the production of The Bookie’s Lament (2000). However, he later returned to the Dominican Republic, where he starred in the sitcoms Ciudad Nueva and Los Electrolocos, in which he played the lead role, and the miniseries Asalto en la Lincoln.
