Hans Isaac

Biography:

Gerald Hans Isaac is a Malaysian actor, director, and producer who was born on August 20, 1971.

He was named Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) on April 10, 2019, and left the position after a year. After more than 20 years in the acting business, Hans said in December 2021 that he was retiring.

Born on August 20, 1971, in the Sultanah Aminah General Hospital in Johor Bahru, Hans Isaac was the son of naval commander Edward Anthony Gerald Isaac and Carmina Anciano Isaac.

The Isaac family relocated to the KD Sri Rejang base in Sibu, Sarawak, after eight years of residence in Johore. Eventually, when Hans was between eight and nine years old, they made their home in Kuala Lumpur. At the National Palace at Jalan Istana, his father held the position of aide to the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong until his retirement. Isaac was a student at Kuala Lumpur’s St. John’s Institution. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Stamford College in Malaysia and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Singapore Institute of Commerce.

Aileen Gabriella Robinson, the 2011 Miss Tourism International winner, proposed to him in February 2017. He declared on October 30, 2017, that the marriage will not work out.
