Randhawa was born in Noorpur, Dera Baba Nanak Tehsil, Gurdaspur district, on August 30, 1991. He began by playing tiny gigs in Gurdaspur and then moved to Delhi, where he performed at events and parties. Randhawa finished his MBA in Delhi. Rapper Bohemia gave him the nickname “Guru” by abbreviating his entire name while performing.
In December 2012, Randhawa began his musical career with the song “Same Girl” with Arjun. ‘Chhad Gay’ was Randhawa’s debut track, which was posted to YouTube by Speed Records.Guru’s well-wisher Bohemia asked T-Series to promote the up-and-coming talent on their channel. They collaborated on the song “Patola” after that. Being Randhawa’s most famous song, it is regarded as a significant turning point in Guruji’s life. In the Hindi movie, Randhawa sang for the first time in Bollywood.
