Grégoire Lassalle was a French performer, entrepreneur, film producer, and philanthropist who lived from March 20, 1955, until November 1, 2023.
Born in Cannes, assalle studied under Annie Fratellini to become a circus artist. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, he played as a clown for seven years, going by the stage name Cornelius. Additionally, he collaborated with performers Ged Marlon and Farid Chopel.
Throughout the 1980s, Lassalle held a variety of odd jobs, such as resort manager for Club Med, radio host on Europe 1, lifeguard, and tennis coach. After that, he worked in the film business, serving as Claude Berri’s direction assistant, among other roles.
He first got to know Jérôme Seydoux, the CEO of Pathé, in 1991 while working for a landscape design company. From 1992 to 1998, he collaborated with Seydoux in marketing capacities at Pathé. Lassalle and his spouse, Gaëlle, have a pair of kids. On November 1, 2023, he passed away at the age of 68.
