Gopi Duraisamy is a well-known photographer and renowned Tamil cinematographer. He was born in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi district and currently resides in Chennai. He has contributed to a number of Tamil films, including Veerappan Gajana (2022). The Tamil short film Gnana Serukku (2018), which was nominated for best cinematography at the International Online Web Fest (2019), featured Gopi as both a DOP and a cinematographer. His compositions feature music from Tamil films such as Uyire and Kabali’s Neruppu Da. He is the director of the Tamil short film 250 and is the cinematographer for the English short movie I’m An Artist. He is also the cinematographer for an untitled film produced by Kuviyam Media Works, Chennai
