Girija Shettar

Biography:

British actress Girija Shettar was born on July 20, 1969, and is well-known for her roles in South Indian movies.Shettar featured in Priyadarshan’s Malayalam film Vandanam and Mani Ratnam’s Telugu film Geethanjali in 1989.

She signed on for the lead female role in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in 1992, but she quit in the middle to fulfill an earlier commitment. After the initial schedule, Ayesha Julka took her place. The song “Are Yaaro,” which was kept in the finished version of the movie, still has her dancing.

She acted in another Telugu movie that year, Hrudayanjali, which was directed by A. Raghurami Reddy and took home four state Nandi Awards.[Citation required] Although the movie was finished in 1992, it wasn’t released until 2002.
