Indian composer Ghibran Vaibodha, formerly known as M. Ghibran, was born on August 12, 1980. He has written music in various languages for television commercial jingles, advertising commercials, and Indian films.
Born on August 12, 1980, M. Ghibran grew up in Coimbatore. His father lost a lot of money in business, so when he was in the tenth grade, his family moved to Chennai. To provide for his family, he had to drop out of school and work many jobs.
Ghibran claimed that when he was around eight or ten years old, he saw Yanni perform on TV, which sparked his interest in music. He had enrolled at a music college but had to leave, so he took keyboard lessons from Paul Augustine on a part-time basis. He earned a degree in classical composition and cinema score from Australian composer
He was offered a position as an in-house composer for animations, and he spent two years there. He opened his own studio in 2000 and wrote music for more than 700 advertisements in the following six years.
He supported himself in Singapore by working part-time as a music composer for media outlets. He worked for the Singapore Wood and Percussion Instruments Orchestra after finishing his pieces. After that, he went back to India, but there were few ads there for him to work on.
