American screenwriter Geneva Robertson-Dworet was born on May 8, 1985. She became well-known after being hired in 2015 to rewrite the screenplay for Roar Uthaug’s 2018 Tomb Raider reboot, which starred Alicia Vikander. She is the co-showrunner and co-creator of the Fallout video game series’ television adaptation for Amazon Prime Video, and she co-wrote the screenplay for Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel (2019).
As part of the DC Extended Universe, Robertson-Dworet was initially scheduled to write the screenplay for David Ayer’s Gotham City Sirens movie. She also authored a script for the novel Artemis, an adaptation of the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, and a third Sherlock Holmes movie.
She and Lindsey Beer were originally scheduled to co-write Silver & Black, a team-up movie from Sony Pictures about the Spider-Man characters Black Cat and Silver Sable. But the movie was taken off Sony’s production schedule, and it’s unknown what will happen to it.
