Biography:

Gattlin Tadd Griffith, born on November 13, 1998, is an American actor recognized for his compelling performances in film and television. He gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Walter Collins in Changeling (2008), a historical crime drama directed by Clint Eastwood. His talent was further highlighted in Blood Done Sign My Name (2010), where he played Tim Tyson in this powerful autobiographical civil rights film. Additionally, he showcased his acting versatility in Labor Day (2013), a romantic drama where he played a significant role.

Beyond his major film appearances, Griffith has also made a mark in television, taking on episodic roles in popular series such as Cold Case, Eli Stone, Supernatural, and Criminal Minds. He also expanded his filmography with roles in The New Daughter and Green Lantern.

Coming from a lineage deeply rooted in stunt work and equestrian sports, Griffith was born to film stuntman Tad Griffith and Wendy Morrison Griffith. His family’s legacy in rodeo and trick riding spans generations—his paternal grandfather, Dick Griffith, is honored in both the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, while his grandmother, Connie Rosenberger Griffith, has earned recognition in the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame.

Raised alongside his three younger brothers—Callder West, Arrden Hunt, and Garrison Cahill—Griffith balanced his acting career with academics and athletics. He played football for the Santa Clarita Warriors and later graduated from Bishop Alemany High School in 2017. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in English at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
