Abdul Hameed Muhammed Fazil, widely known as Fazil, is a renowned Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor, primarily associated with Malayalam cinema. Born on February 4, 1953, he made his directorial debut in 1980 with the film “Manjil Virinja Pookkal.” Throughout his illustrious career, Fazil has directed numerous successful Malayalam and Tamil films, leaving a significant mark in the Indian film industry.
Fazil’s directorial repertoire boasts several popular films, including “Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku” (1983), “Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu” (1984), “Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal” (1986), “Manivathoorile Aayiram Sivarathrikal” (1987), “Ente Sooryaputhrikku” (1991), “Pappayude Swantham Appoos” (1992), and the iconic “Manichitrathazhu” (1993).
