Tamil filmmaker Farook J. Basha is well-known for his work on the television series Mugilan and the film Rudra Thandavam. One of Basha’s most recent film efforts is the Tamil movie Rudra Thandavan, which he directed and wrote the story for.

Basha played the director of photography for the 2015 short film Swayer Corporations. Yusuf Muhammad and Vijay Ram play important parts in this short film, which was written and directed by R. Rathindran Prasad. The sci-fi and thriller short film, produced under the Whole Wide World Films label, centers on an environmentalist who sets out on a mission to remove the CEO of a chemical corporation. On the way, though, he counters someone, which causes his perspective to shift.
R. Rathindran Prasad directed and wrote the 2015 short film Kodaikanal Won’t, for which Basha served as cinematographer. Produced by Archana Sekar, Sofia Ashraf sings in the little clip. In addition, Ashraf wrote the song’s lyrics and performed the playback.
The film discusses the environmental problems that a company’s production wastes caused in Kodaikanal, a hill region in south India, and how those problems affected the local ecology. As a result, numerous employees as well as other people died.
The purpose of the movie was to raise awareness of the organization’s inhumane practice of dumping poisonous substances into the environment and public health without proper consent.
