Biography:

Disco Shanti is the daughter of Tamil actor C. L. Anandan, who starred in movies like Kaattumallika (1966) and Vijayapuri Veeran (1960). Lalitha Kumari, her younger sister, is an actor as well. She quit from the film business after marrying Telugu actor Srihari in 1996.The couple had a daughter and two sons. Akshara, their four-month-old daughter, passed away. In her honor, the family founded the Akshara Foundation, which aims to provide every kid with a high-quality education by speeding traditional learning using innovative technology that is available to both educators and students. They also adopted four villages in the district of Medchal. During the filming of R… Rajkumar (2013), Srihari, who had been suffering from a liver condition, passed away. On set, he became lightheaded and was taken to the hospital, where he passed away.
