Biography:

Indian choreographer Dinesh Kumar works on Tamil and other South Indian films. For his efforts in Aadukalam (Tamil), he was awarded the 2010 National Film Award for Best Choreography. Additionally, he has received two Vijay Awards for Best Choreographer: Easan (2010) and Pokkiri (2007). Additionally, he received four Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards for Best Choreographer: Master (2021), Easan (2010), Pokkiri (2007), and Irudhi Suttru (2016).

Currently residing in Chennai (formerly Madras), Dinesh Kumar was born there. For the movie Aadukalam, he received the 58th National Film Award for Best Choreographer. Additionally, he received two Filmfare Awards: Master (2021) and Best Choreography – South for Ayan (2009). He occasionally appears in the song that he choreographed. In the 2018 film Oru Kuppa Kathai, he made his feature film debut.
