She made a mark in the world of entertainment as one of the directors of the crime thriller series Nakaab (2021), along with Soumik Sen and Ronty Sheikh. This crime thriller series, which features Gautam Rode, Esha Gupta, and Mallika Sherawat, deals with the investigation of the murder of a popular celebrity, involving the elements of crime, media, secrets, and power. By means of the series Nakaab, Gupta demonstrated her talent for directing suspense and ensemble drama.
