American film producer David Ellison was born on January 9, 1983, and has been Paramount Skydance’s chairman and CEO since August 2025. He is the son of Larry Ellison, the second richest person in the world and a co-founder of Oracle Corporation.
He was the CEO of Skydance Media until 2025, having started the company in 2006. Among the films he has produced is Top Gun: Maverick (2022), which received a Best Picture nomination at the 95th Academy Awards.
