Claudio Miranda, ASC is a Chilean-American cinematographer who was born on March 13, 1965. His Spanish pronunciation is. His work on the Ang Lee-directed movie Life of Pi (2012), for which he received the Academy Award for Best Cinematography, becoming him the second person from Chile to win an Academy Award, and his partnerships with director Joseph Kosinski are what made him most famous.
Additionally, he was nominated for the American Society of Cinematographers Award with the David Fincher-directed picture The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), which was the first film filmed entirely digitally to be nominated for the category.
