Chandra Pemmaraju

Biography:

Indian-American director and writer Chandra Pemmaraju is a filmmaker. Over the years, Pemmaraju’s passion for the arts has been demonstrated by the short plays he created and directed while living in India. He took the decision to transition from a career in financial services to filmmaking in 2008 because he was a film aficionado and had a strong desire to pursue filmmaking as a medium to create and communicate art. Since then, he has produced independent and short films that have won praise at numerous international cinema festivals in India and the United States.

In addition to working in the screenplay and production management departments for Life! Camera Action, he has written, produced, and directed May Beetle and Kissing Miss Jones. Additionally, he received an invitation to organize a Bollywood Night at the New Filmmakers Festival in New York.
