Caoilinn Springall is an Irish child actress known for her roles in The Midnight Sky (2020) and The Beast Within (2024). She is also recognized for her performance in the Amazon Prime series Citadel (2023).
Springall made her film debut in the 2020 Netflix sci-fi drama The Midnight Sky, directed by George Clooney, where she portrayed Iris, a mysterious young girl who forms a bond with Clooney’s character, Augustine Lofthouse. Her performance received widespread praise for its emotional depth and maturity, especially given her young age.
Afterward, Springall landed a main role in the TV series Citadel and a recurring role as Little Girl in the British psychological horror film Stopmotion.
She starred in Paul W. S. Anderson’s fantasy-adventure film In the Lost Lands, which is set for release in 2025, alongside Dave Bautista and Deirdre Mullins. Springall also appeared in the 2024 Doctor Who episode “Boom” as Splice Alison Vater.
In May 2023, it was announced that Springall would join the cast of The Beast Within, an adaptation of Edward Levy’s 1978 novel.
