Aryan Khan was born in Mumbai, India, on November 12, 1997. His parents are producer Gauri Khan and superstar Shah Rukh Khan. He has two younger siblings, one of them is the actress Suhana. Khan practices Islam and Hinduism, the two religions of his parents. He transferred to Sevenoaks School in Kent after attending Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai until he was fifteen years old.
In a sequence from the 2001 movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham…, Khan played his father’s role as a young man. In addition, he co-starred with his father as a voice actor in the Hindi adaptation of The Incredibles (2004) and later portrayed Simba of The Lion King (2019). Khan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California’s USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2020.
