Artur Żurawski

Biography:

Polish cinematographer, director, and photographer Artur Čurawski was born in 1972 and works both domestically and abroad. He is a native of Szczecin, a port city in the Baltics, and a graduate of the National Film School in Würódň and the Academy of Visual Arts in Poznań.

He served as director of photography for the 2014 Indian murder thriller Mardaani, which starred Bollywood actor Rani Mukerji and was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra. Rani Mukerji and Artur Čurawski took part in a Q&A session following the film’s January 2015 premiere in Warsaw, Poland, at Kino Muranów, one of Poland’s oldest art houses.
