Biography:

Aritro Rudraneil Banerjee, also known as Aritro Banerjee or Auritro Bannerjee, is an Indian actor born on September 8, 1995, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

Banerjee has showcased his talent across various mediums including Bollywood films, web series, short films, advertisements, and theater productions. Notable works in his repertoire include roles in “Uri – The Surgical Strike” (2019), “Imperfect” (2018), and “The Family Man” (2019). Hailing from a Bengali family in Kolkata, his mother, Rubina P Banerjee, is a writer for Cineblitz, while his father, Aloke Banarjee, serves as the CEO of Bombay Dyeing.

Aritro began his journey in the entertainment industry as a child artist, featuring in numerous TV commercials. He has showcased his acting prowess on both stage and screen, having been associated with theater groups such as Out of the box and The Mirror Merchant. Notably, he has contributed to productions like NatyaUstaad, featuring in plays such as “Asylum,” “Murgistaan,” “Chaarpai,” “Andheri,” and “Transiter untuned.” In addition to his acting pursuits, Aritro dabbles in stand-up comedy, hosting a successful Youtube show titled “Bollywood Tweetiyapa.”

Having obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media (advertising) from K.C. College, Banerjee’s diverse filmography includes appearances in projects like “A Viral Wedding” (2020), where he portrays the character Imtiyaz Baig in a TV mini-series. In “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas” (2019), he assumes the role of a stand-up comedian.

In the acclaimed web series “The Family Man” (2019), Aritro portrays the character Punit, while he also features in the war film “Uri: The Surgical Strike” (2019) as Faizal. Additionally, he appears in “Imperfect” (2018), a TV Mini-Series where Banerjee takes on the role of Vinay Naik.
