Indian cinematographer Anil Bandari is well-known for his roles in the films Baanam, Rajanna, and Okkadu. In Kerala, India, he was born into a middle-class family. During his school years, he became passionate about photography after receiving his first camera from his father. When he was very young, he considered going into Indian cinema as a personnel member. Before going into the film business, he worked as a cinematographer and camera operator for a number of plays and short tales.
In 2003, he made his feature film debut in India as a camera operator. He was involved in Gunasekhar’s Telugu film “Okkadu,” which starred Mahesh Babu, Bhoomika Chawla, and Prakash Raj as the main performers, with Chandramohan, Mukesh Rishi, Rajan P. Dev, Geetha, and numerous more actors in supporting roles.
Numerous accolades were given to this film, including Best Cinematography and Best Direction. He operated cameras for numerous other short films and motion pictures after Okkadu. He was employed as a cinematographer for the Telugu film “Mallepuvvu,” which was released later in 2008. Samudra V. directed this film, which starred Bhoomika Chawla, Abhinaya Sri, and Murali Krishna in the key parts. It was his first role as a cinematographer in a film. Following his employment at Mallepuvvu, he was employed by Chaitanya Dantuluri in “Baanam,” which included Akurati Ramhith, Bhanuchander, and Randhir Gatla as the main performers and Sayaji Shinde, Vedika A.V.S. Subramaniam, and Nara Rohith as supporting cast members.
Anil Bandari consistently provided the business with his best work. He was given the chance to collaborate with numerous well-known Telugu film industry directors in exchange. He was the cinematographer for the 2010 Praveen Sri film “Daayam 2,” which starred Jagapath Babu and Vimala Raman in the lead roles, with many others working in supporting parts. Other cast members were Srinivas Rao Kota, Kota Prasad, Tanikella Bharani, Revathy, Jeeva, and Ajay.
This film was a follow-up to the popular 1999 film “Gaayam.” Everyone was grateful for the team’s collective efforts. Anil Bandari collaborated with award-winning director Vijayendra Prasad on the film “Rajanna” following his work on a superhit film. The film’s three main characters were Shweta Menon, Sneha, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
The movie received high appreciation for Anil Bandari’s work. Additionally, the film took home the Best Direction prize. Anil Bandari acted in the 2017 drama “Chauhar,” which was based on the well-known love tale “Reshma-Chauharmal Ka Khel.” Raghubeer Singh directed the play, which featured star performances by Richa Dixit, Vivek, and Amar Jyoti. He is now a cast member of Aneel’s “Yaariyan in Action,” which also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Himansh Kohli, and Nicole Faria. The film is now in production and might hit theaters by the end of this summer.
