Anand Bharathi

Biography:

Anand is an Indian actor who mostly performs in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films, with a small number of Kannada productions as well. He has also appeared in a number of Malayalam television programs.

Mani Ratnam’s black comedy Thiruda Thiruda is the actor’s biggest film to date, although it didn’t help him make a breakthrough as his co-stars did. In a number of movies, such as Vijayakanth’s Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran and Kamal Haasan’s Sathya, he has also portrayed supporting parts and second leads.

In 1987, he debuted in a movie alongside Vanna Kanavugal. His work in films that showed at the Toronto International Film Festival, including Sathya (1988), Anbe En Anbe (1988), Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989), Oor Mariyadhai (1992), Thalaivasal (1992), and Thiruda Thiruda (1993), is what made him most famous.
