Indian actor Anand Babu gained recognition for his roles in Tamil movies. He is the son of Nagesh, a comedian. He began his career in cinema with Tamil films, then he went on to play both main and supporting parts in Telugu.
He is renowned for having the best dancing skills as well. In the 1983 T. Rajendar-directed Tamil film Thangaikkor Geetham, Anand made his acting debut.
In the early 1990s, he had numerous cinematic appearances. He had a strong start to the film business, but he has since seen a steady slide. In certain Tamil TV serials, he has also performed.
He made a brief appearance in the K. S. Ravikumar-directed film Aadhavan (2009). After a lengthy absence, Anand Babu makes a big screen appearance in Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018).
He graduated from Loyola College of Arts and Science in Chennai after attending Campion Anglo Indian School in Trichy. Shanthi and Anand were wed on December 8, 1985. The couple has a daughter and three sons. Gajesh, their second son, works as an actor in Tamil cinema. Bijesh, their oldest son, is an actor.
