Biography:

Ami Mishra, the renowned Indian singer-songwriter and playback singer, hails from Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. Born into a middle-class family, Ami experienced a nomadic upbringing, moving across various cities due to his father’s government job. He attended Saraswati Higher Secondary School in Seoni for his schooling and pursued his graduation at Rani Durgawati Post Graduation College in Mandla. It was during his postgraduate studies at the Indore Management Institute that his passion for music flourished. His involvement in a college band and participation in reality shows sparked his deep interest in the field.

Upon completing his MBA, Ami ventured into the corporate world, securing a position at a multinational company in Indore. However, he soon found the corporate environment unfulfilling and made the courageous decision to pursue music as a career. Leaving his job, he began performing at restaurants and private gatherings, honing his musical skills and establishing a foothold in the industry.

Ami Mishra’s breakthrough arrived when he composed the soulful track “Hasi” for the film Hamari Adhuri Kahani. The song received widespread acclaim, catapulting him into the spotlight as a talented composer and playback singer in Bollywood. Beyond his contributions to mainstream cinema, Ami also delves into creating independent music, showcasing his versatility and creativity in the music landscape.
