Alexander Ludwig

Biography:

Actor and country musician Alexander Richard Ludwig was born in Canada on May 7, 1992. After starting his career as a youngster, he gained fame as a teenager for his roles in Race to Witch Mountain (2009), The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising (2007), and The Hunger Games (2012) as Cato.

Jameson in Final Girl (2015), Dorn in Bad Boys for Life (2020), Alex Singleton in Heart of Champions (2021), Shane Patton in Lone Survivor (2013), Christopher “Chris” Ryan in When the Game Stands Tall (2014), Sgt. Declan O’Brady in Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant (2023), Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024), and Rome Archer in Marked Men: Rule + Shaw (2025) are some of his other well-known supporting roles. He was the lead in the Starz drama series Heels (2021–2023) and portrayed the iconic Viking Björn Ironside in the History Channel series Vikings (2014–2020). On August 26, 2022, Ludwig’s first album as a musician, Highway 99, was released through BBR Music Group.
