Adnan Sami Khan, born on August 15, 1971, is a versatile Indian singer, musician, composer, and pianist known for his proficiency in both Indian and Western music. His musical journey began with remarkable achievements at a young age, playing the piano since five and composing his first piece of music at nine. Raised and educated in the UK, Sami’s diverse talents encompass classical, semi-classical, jazz, rock, and pop music.

His father, Arshad Sami Khan, a Pakistani Pashtun, served as a pilot in the Pakistan Air Force and later as a diplomat, while his mother, Naureen Khan, hailed from Jammu, India. Sami’s musical endeavors were recognized early on, receiving guidance in Indian classical music from santoor maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and encouragement from legendary singer Asha Bhosle.

In a career spanning over three decades, Sami has won numerous international accolades, including the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian honor, for his significant contributions to music. His musical repertoire includes chart-topping albums and singles, with his collaboration “Kabhi To Nazar Milao” with Asha Bhosle becoming a phenomenal success.
