Her debut on television came in 2008 with “Jai Shri Krishna,” where she portrayed the role of child Radha, aired on Colors TV and Nick Channel, now being dubbed and aired on Tamil and Bengali TV channels. She ventured into Bollywood with “Patiala House” in 2011, starring alongside Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma, directed by Nikkhil Advani. In 2018, she appeared in the comedy-drama film “Hope Aur Hum,” sharing the screen with Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Kulkarni.
During the filming of “Hope Aur Hum,” Virti faced difficulties in pronunciation, which were aided by Naseeruddin Shah using a technique akin to ‘Henry Higgins,’ an experience she found fascinating. In 2020, she featured in the Disney+Hotstar web series “Aarya,” alongside Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh, and Sikandar Kher. In the series, she portrays the character of Arundhati, Aarya’s teenage daughter, navigating the challenges typical of her age, often at risk of falling into undesirable relationships.
