Friday Film House was established by Sandra and producer Vijay Babu. After a disagreement with Babu, Sandra left Friday Film House and established Sandra Thomas Productions, her own production company.

In July 2016, she wed Wilson John Thomas. In 2018, the couple had twin children. The pivotal moment in Sandra’s career occurred in the 2012 movie Friday, which also happened to be for Friday Film House, which she and actor Vijay Babu own.
