Born in Mysore, Karnataka, Rakshita is the daughter of Suresh and Anitha Suresh. She commenced her musical training at the age of 4 and pursued education in Carnatic Music, Hindustani Classical music, and Light Music, eventually earning a B.Sc. degree.
Rakshita’s career soared when she emerged as the winner on Rhythm Tadheem, a show aired on ETV Kannada, and secured the title of “Little Star Singer” in 2009 on Asianet Suvarna (Kannada). Her remarkable journey continued as the first runner-up in the reality show Super Singer 6, broadcasted on Star Vijay (Tamil) in 2018.
As a playback singer, Rakshita made her debut with the legendary Ilayaraja. Her versatile talent allowed her to sing singles in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu, showcasing her linguistic prowess.
