Ohmkar

Biography:

Ohmkar was born on 04 October in 1980 in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was born in a Hindu family who spoke Telugu. In Kakinada, his father, N. V. Krishna Rao, was a physician. He has one sister and two brothers. His brother Kalyan Babu is a producer, and his brother Ashwin Babu is an actor in Tollywood. Sivilli is the name of his sister.

He graduated from GBR AC Campus, Anaparthi, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. In 2011, he wed Swaroopa, and the two of them have a single child.

Ohmakar made his TV debut as a video jockey on Gemini Music’s (formerly Aditya Music) music program Ankitham. He produced and hosted Zee Telugu’s dance reality show Aata at 2005 on Telugu Television saw a huge increase in popularity for this show. Ohmkar became affectionately known as “Ohmkar Annayya” by the public. He quickly rose to prominence as a popular television personality.

In addition, he produced, developed, and anchored a number of television programs, including Maayadweepam, Challenge, and 100% Luck. Ohmkar founded OAK Entertainments, a film and television production company led by his brother Kalyan Babu.

His love of filmmaking led him to become a director later on. Genius, the first Tollywood movie he directed, was a box office failure. Through the movie, he made his brother Ashwin Babu known as an actor. However, he carried on presenting TV programs.

His biggest break came from directing the highly successful film Raju Gari Gadhi (2015). Ohmakar launched the Raju Gari Gadhi series with this movie, and he went on to direct two more in the series, but they didn’t quite live up to the first one’s success.
