Naveen Neni

Biography:

Naveen Neni is a versatile actor in the Telugu film industry who initially gained popularity as a comedian. Hailing from the village of Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh, Naveen spent much of his early life there, and his passion for acting was evident from a young age. He would often mimic film characters for his friends and even won a local dance competition, which earned him recognition in his hometown.

However, Naveen initially pursued a degree in Hotel Management after completing his education, uncertain about how to embark on a career in cinema. Eventually, his love for the movies led him to Hyderabad, where he sought opportunities in the film industry. With the guidance of dance master Subhash, he auditioned for a film role and made his debut in the 2009 film ‘Sasirekha Parinayam,’ where he played a comical character.

While life in the film industry was challenging initially, director Sukumar provided Naveen with a breakthrough role in ‘100% Love,’ which kickstarted his career. He showcased his versatility by taking on various roles, including a transgender character in ‘Pilla Zamindar.’ Naveen’s ability to bring depth to comical roles set him apart, and he gained recognition for his performances in films like ‘Auto Nagar Surya’ and ‘Routine Love Story.’

Naveen has shared the screen with several popular actors and actresses, including Naga Chaithanya, Sundeep Kishen, Nani, Regina Cassandra, Samantha, and Tamanna. His career continued to flourish with hits like ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Nene Raja Nene Mandhiri.’ He credits director Sukumar for discovering his hidden talent and respects him immensely for his mentorship.
