Charu Shankar

Biography:

Actor, dancer, and choreographer Charu Shankar is. Charu, a Modern School alum, graduated with a master’s in English from Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College. She started her dancing training at The Danceworx while attending college, and from 2002 to 2005, she was a member of the repertory company. Charu continues to be actively involved in theater, both as a performer and a teacher, and she has portrayed numerous noteworthy roles in movies, web series, and short films. She has received a lot of recognition for her work in Rocket Boys, Animal, and Crew, but she is most renowned for playing the lead character Mehrunissa in Epic Channel’s hit sitcom Siyaasat. She writes poems, loves to read, and goes on long walks. Her residence is in New Delhi.
