Aditya Om is an Indian actor and director who was born on October 5, 1975. He primarily works in Hindi and Telugu films. He also performed in plays and serials. In addition to directing Bandook (2013), he made his acting debut in Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo (2002). For his Telugu movie Dahnam, he won numerous best actor honors at different film festivals.
Under the stage name Aditya, Aditya Om made his acting debut in the Telugu-language multistarrer Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo (2002). Aditya is a terrible choice to portray such an important character, according to one critic, and “his dialogue delivery is pretty bad and he overacted in most of the scenes,” according to another.
His performance in his second movie, Dhanalakshmi, I Love You (2002), was well praised; one critic wrote that “Aditya surprises us with his good histrionics” and another that he “fit[s] perfectly” in the part. Aditya Om went on to star in a number of Telugu movies, such as Preminchukunnam Pelliki Randi (2004) and Mee Intikoste Em Istaaru Maa Intkoste Em Testaaru (2004).
It was at this period that he made his feature picture directorial debut with Mr Lonely Miss Lovely (2004).Reference 10 In the highly regarded 2013 movie Bandook, he both directed and starred. According to one reviewer, “Actor-director Aditya Om plays his part with conviction” in his performance.
The Oscars script for Bandook is kept in their library. Several national and international film festivals have recognized Aditya Om’s Hindi feature film Maassab (2018) with accolades.
In addition to his strong involvement in social work and charity, he has adopted the Telangana village of Cherupally.
Additionally, he is promoting educational changes through his “Edulightment” organization. There, he built a library, launched a digital service center, and gave the locals and school laptops and solar lights.
Under his organization, Edulightment, he is devotedly working for educational reforms, as well as the welfare of tribal people in Telangana, auto drivers in Mumbai, and human rights societies.
Aditya Om’s performance in the Hindi OTT film “Quota” was well received. Among the most viewed Telugu shorts in 2022 was Aditya Om’s “Pavithra,” another short film. ‘Bagawat’ is one of his next Hindi flicks. “Bandi.”
His Hindi film “Maila,” which he directed, was chosen for the 2021 Goa Film Bazaar’s NFDC Recommended section. Aditya Om is currently filming a biopic of Sant Tukaram in Hindi. Aditya Om began providing ambulance services for his adoptive villages of Cherupally and Kothapalli at the end of 2022.
