Ala Vaikuntapurramloo passed the heavy competition this Sankranthi with flying colors. The film silenced many and became a blockbuster hit which is a new record now in Telugu states. The film has made over 3.5 million in the US and is one of the five biggest hits in the US. It is still playing in a few screens and has now made 3.63 million at the US box office.

The film has crossed 40 crores in Nizam and all the video songs that have been released have made crazy views online and offline showing the power of the film.
