Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story, starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles, is one of the most anticipated films in Tollywood. The film has been one of the most anticipated since the time it was announced, due to the names involved in it. The film was supposed to have been released last year, but couldn’t due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Later on, the film was supposed to release in April this year, but once again got postponed due to the second wave of coronavirus. The makers had earlier announced September 10th as the release date of the film, but once again announced that the film would be released on a later date due to the ongoing tick price issue in the state of Andhra Pradesh. In the meantime, director Sekhar Kammula has been doing extensive reshoots for the film as he was reportedly not satisfied with the output of some scenes, due to which he was doing so many reshoots.
Sources now confirm that the reshoots of the film are completely done and that the film’s postproduction work will also be done very soon. It is now to be seen if and when the film will finally see the light of day. With rumours of the third wave being around the corner not dying out, the earlier the film releases, the better, as the film would probably head for a direct OTT release otherwise.
