Pawan Kalyan is one hero who never, even in his early days, never tried to rush into making number of movies. He is one hero who believes in quality over quantity. Even the growing production costs and budgets have also made him think twice about the movies he would like to show to the audience.
In of his recent interviews, he candidly agreed that he never wanted to concentrate on a movie career but wanted to be happy as a farmer. He already has a farm house where he spends most of his time. He is the man who took more than 3 years to ok a script and with lack of satisfying ideas wrote it himself. He always showed an inclination to make good quality cinema with values. Even his counterparts like Mahesh and Jr. NTR have suddenly increased their pace with new films being announced while one is under production. But Pawan took it a step further and keeping himself busy with film after film and simultaneously shooting them.
Pawan Kalyan is already busy with Dolly’s Katamarayudu remake of Veeram. A Pooja ceremony was held in AM Rathnam’s office for Vedalam remake with RT Neason as director. A film with Trivikram as director is announced by the production house with first shooting schedule already planned from November 20th. This is a good turn of events as a busy big hero like him is concentrating on doing back to back movies. His fans will surely be thrilled about him making movies back to back but they are disappointed by his choice to remake already dubbed Veeram and Vedalam. Both the films have entertained Mass audience in Tamil and Vedalam in particular became a Blockbuster success even when Rains decided to spoil the routines of people in a drastic way.
But Pawan Kalyan never did was in a hurry to complete movies or never did he start them like this. He always had been extremely choosy and cancelled an announced movie when he thought the script and the producers were not upto the mark. So what changed?
According to sources, Pawan Kalyan’s financial crisis is the trigger for him to take such an approach. His divorce and financial settlement cost good fortune it seems. He recently sold his car Merc to meet his staff salary requirements. He also admitted that his finances are in bad position and his plans to strengthen the political party he built JanaSena also need lot of infrastructure. His character and commitment to not accept donations from industrialists is also hampering the progress politically.
Few also claim that, the finances are not in that bad shape but he wants to make sure that there is no additional pressure on him to make movies as a lead cast while he would like to completely devote his attention in politics. So he wants to be financially healthy before jumping the gun. Whatever could be the reason, if any two or all the films become hits and blockbusters the revenues that they can collect would be something unimaginable, owing to his craze and popularity. Good days for TFI distributors, hopefully.
