Director Vivek Agnihotri recently made headlines with his comments about filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in an interview.
Vivek known for controversial films, is currently working on The Delhi Files. He spoke about their previous collaboration on the film Goal, where Anurag was the screenwriter.
Vivek mentioned that Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra were initially cast but due to Saif’s personal issues, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu were brought in. He also said Anurag had issues with drinking and punctuality during that time.
Vivek further revealed that Anurag introduced Vikramaditya Motwane for writing assistance but eventually Motwane took over the creative work leading to a clash in visions. Vivek claimed handling Anurag became challenging, requiring intervention from the production company.
In response Anurag posted on social media, calling Vivek’s claims false and stating that he wasn’t involved with the movie set. The exchange has gained significant attention online.
