The movie 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey and based on the novel by Anurag Pathak, follows the adventures of IRS official Shraddha Joshi and IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma.
On Thursday, director Vidhu Vinod Chopra tweeted a clip from his next movie, “12th Fail,” in which Vikrant Massey is shown giving his academic and professional lives a fresh start.
The best-selling novel by Anurag Pathak about the extraordinary journey of IRS officer Shraddha Joshi and IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma is the basis for the movie “12th Fail.” Millions of actual accounts of students who attempted the Civil Services exam, the toughest competitive exam in the world, served as inspiration for the movie.
With actual students and genuine locales, 12th Fail adopts an authentic approach to show the strength, integrity, and tenacity of UPSC students as well as the enduring connections they form.
Regarding the 12th Fail teaser, Chopra said: “This film stands as a monument to the honest policemen who protect our Constitution and the innumerable students who desire to follow in their footsteps. I would consider this movie a success if it even motivates a small number of people to pursue integrity and quality.
This movie pays homage to everyone who sees loss as a chance to #RESTART and includes Shantanu Moitra’s high-octane song “Restart.” Both Raftaar and Swanand Kirkire contributed to its two versions. Both anthems give a new voice to the generation of today that never gives up.
The Chief Business Officer of Zed Studios, Shariq Patel, continued, “12th Fail portrays students’ challenges and enduring friendships, showcasing the resilience and authenticity of student life.” On October 27, 12th Fail will be released internationally in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
