Okkadu Migiladu is in a way, the only hope for Manchu Manoj after the kind of disasters he faced in recent times to make a comeback. Even his movie, Gunturodu flopped badly at the box office and Okkadu Migiladu got postponed to a new date from September date after initial announcement. The reason for this is said to be the delay in VFX shots for expected quality.
Recently, the team has conducted a press meet to reveal about the movie and the director, Ajay Nutakki, talked about the story. He said, “The story has two strong elements of violence and non-violence. It is about how you react to those situations that make you feel oppressed and suppressed. Manoj took a toll on his body to get ready for this role. He reduced 10 kilos and put on 20 kilos to play the characters. We are happy with the final output and excited to meet the audience with our labour of passion.”
The producers have confirmed that the movie will be hitting theatres on 10th of November. “The visuals of the war and in the sea, will arrest audience in the theatres and Manoj gave a brilliant performance that we can remember him for a lifetime as these characters,” said the producers and the director.
