Suryakantham is the latest romantic comedy by Niharika Konidela and the Mega Princess, seems to be unable to connect with the film going audiences as much as she could with them on Satellite and OTT platforms.
The movie added to her flops and many are calling it, her hattrick disaster in just three years. She is selecting scripts that follow Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor film patterns even before she reached their level in audiences perspective.
After Friday, the collections saw more dip on Saturday and Sunday. Monday saw the crash in the collections. The movie seems to have been rejected by the fans as well. She might have a plan sorted out that she thinks works for her but she seems to be trying out too heavy things to shoulder when she isn’t there yet.
Anyhow, trade pundits say that she needs to come out of a mould and try completely different things than stereotypical films that won’t help her in growth.
