Samantha became popular across India after her role in “The Family Man: Season 2“. Impressed by her performance as Raaji, directors Raj and DK offered her more roles, including a lead role in “Citadel: Honey Bunny”, which is set to release soon.
During the promotions, Samantha revealed that she initially asked Raj and DK to replace her when she found out she had Myositis.
She said, “I wasn’t confident I could do it, so I even suggested four other actresses who could take on the role”.
However, after finishing the show, she expressed her gratitude to directors for believing in her. Her co-star Varun Dhawan praised her dedication.
This film will be available on Amazon Prime starting November 7th. The show promises a mix of action, drama, and entertainment, and Samantha is hopeful it will mark a successful return for her.
