Prabhas Is The Only South Indian Actor To Have Two 1000 Crore Films

Kalki 2898 AD the sci fi blockbuster featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in leading roles has today joined the prestigious Rs 1,000 crore club.

Released on June 27th the film achieved this milestone in just 15 days.

Currently Kalki ranks seventh among all time highest grossing Indian movies and is the second highest grossing South Indian film after Baahubali The Conclusion.

Prabhas is the only South Indian actor to have two films in the 1000 crore club making him a focal point of attention across all film industries particularly in Telugu cinema.

The movie features Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan alongside Sobhana, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy and many other. The film is produced by veteran filmmaker Ashwini Dutt along with his daughters with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
