Pooja Hegde On Retro: “My Most Proud Film”

In a recent interview, Pooja Hegde expressed her excitement for Retro starring Suriya. She said “I am proud of all my films but Retro is the one I am most proud of”.

“Everything about it is special, the way we shot it, the energy on set, and my character. I’m saying this even before watching the final cut, as it’s still in editing”.

Earlier she revealed that director Karthik Subbaraj cast her in Retro after being impressed by her emotional performance in Radhe Shyam.

The film, set to release on May 1st features Suriya as a gangster who sacrifices everything for love.

Music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, and the film is produced by the pair Suriya and Jyothika under 2D Entertainment.
