As announced by the makers the first look teaser of Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair starrer Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai is out in the evening hours of February 9th. Set in a semi-foreign backdrop, the teaser explores the relationship between the lead pair.
The promo kick-started with the introduction of Sanjay Pisapati( Naga Shaurya) and Anupama Kasturi( Malvika Nair) as best friends with no tags attached. The sizzling chemistry between them hints that they are in a relationship but like to stay away from unnecessary tags to the relationship. The promo later showcases some fun scenes between them with soothing background music playing. Towards the end of the teaser, the makers revealed that Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai (PAPA) will be hitting the screens on March 17th as a Ugadi festival special. The promo is fun-coated and projects adorable chemistry between the lead pair. Kalyani Malik’s BGM is perfectly blended with the scenes showcased in the short glimpse.
Being directed by actor-filmmaker Srinivas Avasarala, the film has already wrapped up its entire shooting formalities. Currently, post-production work is underway at a fast pace. Earlier, the makers planned to release the film during Valentine’s Day weekend but due to reasons unknown, they drop the idea. We already reported that the film is going to be an out-and-out entertainer with some norm-questioning topics in the relationship. Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai marks the second time association of Naga Shaurya and Srinivas Avasarala after the 2014 romantic drama, Oohalu Gusagusalade. Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai also stars Varanasi Soumya and Jamie-Lee Beacher in prominent roles.
