In These 10 Movies, The Side Characters Stand Out More Than The Heroes

Nowadays, movies won’t do well at the box office unless they have strong content. In the past, it was believed that a film would be a hit mainly because of the hero’s style. Now, however, the audience wants to see elements and characters that are even stronger than the hero.

People believe that movies with entertaining elements beyond just the hero’s performance are more appealing. It’s no longer just about the hero taking the spotlight characters that stand out are just as important.

Let’s look at some recent hit movies where certain characters were more prominent than the heroes:

1. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, with Allu Arjun as the hero, it can be said that Murali Sharma, who plays his stepfather, has outshone even the hero. His character became the standout feature of the movie.

2. HIT 2


Directed by Sailesh Kolanu and starring Adivi Sesh. In the movie, Suhas, who plays an unexpected villain, steals the spotlight even more than the hero. His role is definitely a key factor in the film’s success.

3. Waltair Veerayya

Megastar Chiranjeevi stars in this movie directed by Bobby, with Ravi Teja playing a significant role. In fact, Ravi Teja’s character in the second half stands out even more than the hero’s role.

4.Ranga Maarthaanda

Directed by Krishna Vamsi, this movie features Prakash Raj in the lead role. However, it’s Brahmanandam‘s character that truly stands out throughout the film.

5. Keedaa Cola


Directed by Tharun Bhascker, the movie features Chaitanya Rao Madadi and Rag Mayur as the main heroes. However, it’s Tharun Bhaskar’s role that has truly become the highlight.

6. Committee Kurrollu


Although the film directed by Yadu Vamsi and produced by Niharika features heroes, it’s Prasad Behara‘s role that stands out as the highlight.

7. AAY


Narne Nithin, is the hero of this movie directed by Anji Maniputra. However, it’s Vinod Kumar’s role that steals the show. The flashback scene related to his character in the climax definitely changed the film’s outcome.

8. Kalki 2898 AD


In this film directed by Nag Ashwin, which stars Pan India star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan‘s role is prominently featured. He delivered an outstanding performance as Ashwadhama, looking like a true superhero.

9. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram


In this movie directed by Vivek Athreya, with Nani as the hero, S.J. Surya, who played the villain, received high praise. Even though he appeared serious, Surya brought in a lot of humor, making his character the standout feature of the film.

10. Mathu Vadalara 2


In this movie directed by Ritesh Rana, featuring Sri Simha Koduri as the hero, comedian Satya‘s role stands out. His performance keeps the audience entertained from start to end.
