I did Oxygen for A.M Ratnam sir : Gopi Chand

Gopichand has been going through some tough times with his career lately. He has been trying to find a good script that can give him a big hit for last five years, post Loukyam. Even though his Jill and Goutham Nanda, collected well enough, they are not regarded as box office hits. The potential of the actor as a mass action hero is still to be realised and his next film could be an “Oxygen” provider to his career.

The actor also wished the same. As there are many rumours about his fall out with director, A.M Jyothi Krishna and producer A.M Ratnam, many thought he might not come to the audio function. The actor did grace the function and looked in high spirits too. He said, “Oxygen is a very difficult film to make. I heard the script and liked it but my first condition to director is that I will only do the film if Ratnam sir is producing.”

He continued, “From young age, I admired the guts of Ratnam sir and his ability to make big films. It is my dream to work in his production and I am happy, he did not think before providing what is necessary for the script. I hope and wish, this movie will be a big success for all the hard work our team as put in on the film.” Anu Emmanuel, Raashi Khanna are acting as leading ladies in this movie.
