We asked ourselves the question, should we review a film like RGV’s Powerstar? It seems to be an attempt at hate mongering and ridicule than a smart attempt at delivering a political satire. We don’t support Pawan Kalyan or Ram Gopal Varma in this issue and we would like to stay that way as a journalistic forum with unbiased views. We felt the ridicule was too harsh to support it and hence, we are giving this mini-review kind of an update about the film.
The film is as senseless as one can get and as meaningless too. It tries to imagine situations that would have happened or conversations that might have happened after 2019 elections in Pawan Kalyan’s life. But it is totally based on gossips and doesn’t feel like much research went into the making of it. As much as we like a satire this film was not made in a good taste and we wouldn’t recommend you to suffer through it.
The dialogues have been dubbed by mimicry artists and they don’t even match to the lip of the actors who performed in front of the camera. The actors seem to have caught on some mannerisms of the original people and they repeat it often to make it even more torturous. It is sad to see RGV descending so much and we can’t say more than this!
