Guntur Kaaram Team has decided to slash ticket prices in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana following a previously applied ticket hike. The initial attempt at increasing prices had a detrimental effect on the film, especially in Nizam, where the substantial hike led to negative word of mouth and reviews.
Despite the intended 10-day duration for the ticket hike, the lack of positive reception prompted the makers to reconsider. Although the team was expected to lower ticket prices starting Monday, they delayed the decision. Fortunately, in Andhra, where the hike was more reasonable, the impact was minimal.
However, recognizing the need for a strategic shift, the team is now opting for reduced prices, particularly in response to the film’s poor performance. Some exhibitors are already implementing normal prices, and it’s anticipated that by this Friday, all stations will follow suit.
Directed by Trivikram, Guntur Kaaram features Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. The move to lower ticket prices aims to mitigate the adverse effects of the initial hike and attract more viewers in both Telugu States.
